Popular Dominican Restaurant in Pleasantville Devastated by Fire After a Decade of Efforts

El Bohio Cafe & Restaurant in Pleasantville was hit by an electrical fire on Saturday, Oct. 7th, causing significant damage.

According to a GoFundMe page created by Nicole Marie Brouwer Melo of Egg Harbor Township, El Bohio restaurant is considered a beloved establishment by the locals. The page was set up to help her cousins, who are the owners of the restaurant.

Nicole expressed that El Bohio has served and provided for a variety of groups, including local troops, hospitals, and the homeless.

According to her, the blaze had caused irreparable damage to a decade’s worth of hard work.
