According to Kierra Turner, the wife of Jauvvion Bagsby, he passed away as a hero in Independence, Missouri.
According to reports, Tyler Rizer from Blue Springs took the life of Bagsby on Friday night. Sadly, Rizer is known as a repeat offender.
As per newly revealed court records, the event that resulted in Bagsby’s tragic death began when Turner was present in the backyard with their kids and Bagsby.
When Bagsby arrived home, he immediately confronted Rizer with a gun. According to court documents, Turner informed him that the police were on their way. Shortly after, Turner heard gunshots and later discovered that Bagsby had been fatally injured in the exchange of gunfire.
According to Turner, her loved one would have done anything to protect them, even if it meant facing the same outcome. She firmly believes that he loved them and would make the same choice again if given the chance.
According to her, her husband was adored by many and was known for being a shield, a breadwinner, and someone who always inspired people to reach their full potential.
“He was a devout believer, deeply devoted to his faith and held his family and children in the highest regard. He possessed a selfless and unwavering love for them and was always willing to go above and beyond to provide for their needs.”
Every night, as she puts their three sons to bed, she remembers the promise she made to her beloved husband as she held him tight for the very last time.
Turner reflects on the promise she made to her late husband on a Friday night. She vowed to raise their boys to embody the same qualities as their father, acknowledging the challenges that come with such a task. However, Turner finds comfort in knowing that her sons carry a part of their dad within them.
