According to school officials, a student at Prattville High School was discovered with a firearm on campus on Wednesday. This incident has raised concerns regarding the safety of students and staff at the school.
As per the district’s statement, school officials discovered an undisclosed student carrying a weapon during an unrelated inspection.
According to reports, the school resource officer confiscated the gun from a student, who has since been arrested.
According to the district, they will be taking necessary disciplinary measures.
