On September 1, 2023, Mary A. Anello, a 38-year-old resident of Buffalo, NY, was taken into custody for driving under the influence (DUI) after being involved in a car accident on Greiner Road in Clarence, NY. The State Police from SP Clarence were responsible for the arrest.
While being questioned by the police, it was observed that Anello appeared to be impaired. It was later determined that she had been driving under the influence of alcohol. The field sobriety tests that were conducted by the police resulted in her failing them.
Upon being apprehended, Anello was escorted to SP Clarence where she underwent a breath test. The results of the test indicated that her Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was at 0.13%. After being processed, Anello was released and issued court appearance tickets for Clarence, with a date for her court hearing yet to be determined.
