Missouri charges Christian County restaurant owner for not reporting sales and withholding taxes

Missouri State has charged a woman from Christian County for her failure to file sales taxes for her restaurant.

    • Eight counts of With Intent To Defraud, Willfully Failed To Make A Sales Tax Return/Pay Sales Tax/Keep Records/Supply Information
    • Five counts of Employer, W/Intent To Defraud, Willfully Failed To File Return/Truthfully Account For/Pay Withholding Tax
    • Eight counts of Failure To Collect Or Pay Over Income Tax

Investigators have reported that Missouri has suffered a loss of $48,117.49. It is important to note that interest and additional fees will accumulate until the outstanding balances for sales and withholding taxes are fully settled.

The court has scheduled the October 2nd date and issued a summons.
