Maryland police have apprehended six individuals in relation to the organization of massive exhibition driving events. The arrests were made after a thorough investigation into the dangerous and illegal activities that were taking place at these events. By cracking down on these events, law enforcement hopes to prevent further harm to both participants and bystanders.

Law enforcement agencies in Maryland, in partnership with the Maryland Department of State Police, have taken action against unlawful large-scale exhibition driving events in the state. As a result, several individuals have been charged for their involvement in these events.
The Maryland Car Rally Task Force has been actively working since June 2024 to investigate and tackle exhibition driving events, popularly known as ‘takeovers’.
Engaging in illegal activities such as dangerous stunts that involve blocking public roads, disrupting traffic, causing property damage, and putting the safety of the public at risk is a serious concern.
The Maryland Car Rally Task Force took action in July by addressing three distinct car rallies in Prince George’s County, which encompassed regions like Laurel, Greenbelt, Beltsville, and Upper Marlboro.
As the task force continues its efforts in Prince George’s County, six individuals have been charged either through a criminal summons or an arrest warrant.
Six individuals have been identified as the accused in the case. Their names are Terrell Marshall, Alex Agustin, Kyle Allen, Jarard Walters, Malik Coleman, and London Flores. Marshall is 22 years old and is from Suitland, while Agustin, aged 22, hails from Laurel. Allen, 24, is from Lanham, and Walters, aged 21, is from Essex. Coleman, aged 24, is from Baltimore, and Flores, 19, is from Silver Spring.
The individuals were all accused of being involved in unlawful exhibition driving activities that took place in Prince George’s County.
Law enforcement authorities are conducting increased patrols in areas identified as hotspots, along with comprehensive investigations to identify and prosecute those involved in criminal activities.
