According to the Russellville Police Department, they have successfully apprehended the suspect who was wanted in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. The news was confirmed on Sunday, putting an end to the manhunt that had been ongoing for quite some time.
During a routine traffic stop, officers were able to identify a vehicle that was associated with Billy Joe Williams, as reported by the department.
According to the police, Williams tried to conceal himself on the vehicle’s passenger floorboard during the traffic stop. However, the authorities acted swiftly and managed to apprehend him.
The authorities have reported that Tabitha Goins, the driver of the vehicle, has also been taken into custody.
