“Be Ready Day” held at Garrett Coliseum to equip individuals for disasters

On Friday, Garrett Coliseum is taking proactive measures to ensure that individuals are well-prepared in the event of a disaster by hosting a “Be Ready Day.” This initiative is aimed at imparting knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively during such situations.

The partnership for Be Ready Day involves several agencies, including Alabama Emergency Management, Montgomery City-County Emergency Management, Elmore County Emergency Management, Autauga County Emergency Management, Red Cross, Hands on River Region, and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Team. These agencies have witnessed the positive impact of preparedness in the aftermath of disasters and are committed to promoting it.

The Be Ready Day event will take place on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Garrett Coliseum.
