Police Confirm Death of 3-Year-Old Found in Rockville Pool After Going Missing

A call for a missing boy was received by the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center at around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, July 5.

Upon receiving a report, the Rockville City Police promptly arrived at Elmcroft Court where they discovered the child in a neighborhood pool.

The young boy received CPR from the first responders and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the Montgomery County Department of Police were informed of the tragic incident.

Investigators have noted that the department will not release the name of the boy and no foul play is suspected.
