According to an obituary published by Hoffman Funeral Home, Lisa Woolson had been working for the NJ Department of Corrections for the past eight years. During this time, she held various positions between Bayside and South Woods State Prisons. At the time of her passing, Woolson was 43 years old.
Woolson’s recent promotion was acknowledged by the DOC on their Facebook page as they expressed their sorrow over her passing.
According to the department, Mrs. Woolson actively participated in events hosted by the SWSP and BSP communities, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to both organizations.
As an active member of the community, Woolson served as an EMT for multiple area squads. She also dedicated her time to organizations such as 4-H, the local PTA, and the school board. Her husband, Philip, currently holds the position of lieutenant at South Woods State Prison.
According to her obituary, Brandy had an extraordinary ability to make friends and light up any room she entered. Her dedication and passion were evident in all her pursuits, and she stood by her husband’s side for over 17 years as a rock. But above all, Brandy’s greatest strength was her unwavering love and care for her four wonderful children.
Philip, Brandy’s devoted husband, and her four children – Cecilia, Hudson, Aaron, and Hazel – along with her father, Edgar Scott II (Cathy), mother, Maryann O’Brien, grandmother Reeann Scott, brothers Ed Scott III (Camry) and Jack O’Brien (Rebecca), and sister Jackie Bowman (Doug), are left to cherish her memory.
On Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. to pay our last respects to the departed at the Hoffman Funeral Home located at 643 Main St. in Leesburg. Funeral services will be held at this venue.
The viewing schedule has been set for Tuesday evening, June 25th, from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by another one on Wednesday, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Please take note of these timings.
