Identification Made of 56-Year-Old Who Died in a Motorcycle Accident in Central Mass

Authorities have identified the victim in a crash that occurred on June 8th in Worcester as a 56-year-old man from New Hampshire.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, Robert Petterson from Farmington, New Hampshire, was involved in a motorcycle accident on I-290 Westbound. Reports state that his Harley Davidson collided with a 2020 Honda CRV at approximately 1:40 p.m.

After the accident, Petterson was immediately taken to a nearby hospital by the paramedics. Unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead upon arrival. On the other hand, the driver of the SUV did not suffer any injuries.

On Sunday afternoon, no charges had been filed as police investigated and cleared a crash on I-290. The authorities closed multiple lanes for an hour to clean up the area.
