Shooting at Seattle high school claims life of 17-year-old student

It has been confirmed by the Seattle Police Department that the injuries sustained by the 17-year-old student resulted in their unfortunate passing.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that an altercation had taken place at the school prior to the shooting.

According to authorities, a male high school student fled the scene and is currently at large. The police are still in pursuit of the individual.

The identity of the student who lost their life has not yet been disclosed.

During a recent news conference, Mayor Bruce Harrell expressed his profound concern over the current state of our children. He emphasized that the word “trauma” cannot adequately describe the severity of their situation and urged for immediate action. He stated that our children deserve better and we must prioritize their well-being.
