Investigation underway into gunfire incident in northwest Atlanta neighborhood that left two injured
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred in a residential area in northwest Atlanta. The incident resulted in two individuals being wounded and subsequently hospitalized. Law enforcement officials are actively working to gather information and piece together the events leading up to the gunfire.
Steve Gehlbach from Channel 2 recently had a conversation with residents living on Camrose Way to gather their views and insights.
Residents in the area reported being awoken by the sound of gunshots at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. Upon the arrival of law enforcement and medical personnel, two individuals were seen being transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
The investigation is currently centered around a parked car in one of the driveways. Gehlbach noticed multiple bullet holes on the driver’s side. Outside the home, the police have already marked up to 100 pieces of evidence.
The authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
