A man from Georgia admitted to purchasing a significant quantity of drugs in Atlanta and subsequently transporting them to Florida for the purpose of selling them.
In March 2023, Leonel Bautista Solis, 29, was apprehended while traveling from Georgia to Jacksonville, Florida, as stated in court documents.
Prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office Middle District of Florida have reported that federal agents discovered 1,600 fentanyl pills, packaged cocaine intended for sale, and six firearms in Bautista’s vehicle.
According to reports, he confessed to purchasing the drugs in Atlanta and transporting them to Jacksonville.
“He also confessed to delivering the guns alongside the drugs.”
In February, he admitted his guilt and has recently been given a sentence of seven years and eight months in federal prison for distributing over 40 grams of fentanyl.
