Chris Hemsworth was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and his fellow Avengers co-star, Robert Downey Jr., took the opportunity to playfully roast the beloved “Thor” actor. Downey invited their Marvel comrades, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans, to sum up Hemsworth in just three words. Their responses had the audience in stitches with laughter.
Chris Hemsworth opens up about his role in the upcoming film ‘Furiosa,’ describing it as both sick and twisted. He also discusses his personal struggle with imposter syndrome and how it has affected his career. In addition, Hemsworth reflects on the concept of mortality and how it informs his decision-making process. Furthermore, he shares his excitement for the ‘Limitless’ series and the opportunities it presents for him as an actor.
Inquiring about Chris Hemsworth, Downey was curious to know how others would describe him. Renner playfully responded, labeling him as “absurdly, annoyingly amazing.” Ruffalo chimed in, referring to him as a “friend from work.” Scarlett provided a heartfelt description, calling him a “sensitive leading lady.” Captain America playfully ranked him as the “second best Chris.” And finally, Downey concluded by emphasizing that Hemsworth truly deserves the title of a “Hollywood star recipient.”
In a more sincere tone, Downey praised Hemsworth as one of the most extraordinary individuals he has ever encountered. Hemsworth was awarded his star on the same day that his latest film, George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” was released. Downey expressed his anticipation for watching the movie and confidently declared that it would be the standout film of 2024.
“I personally crafted every single one of my comments, so you can expect them to be not only insightful but also absolutely brilliant,” Downey expressed. “Beneath the superhero attire and mighty hammer lies an infectious charm that can only come from being an Aussie. You are an extraordinary individual, a true legend. Describing Chris is a bit challenging. He may appear elusive due to his striking appearance, but upon closer examination, you’ll discover an authentic wit and a profound depth of soul. It has genuinely been a pleasure knowing you. You keep us, Hollywood folks, on our toes because you are the real deal.”
‘Mad Max’ director George Miller recently revealed that he completed the highly anticipated prequel ‘Furiosa’ just two and a half weeks ago. In a lighthearted manner, Miller joked that he “came out of retirement” to work on this project.
In an interview with Variety, while celebrating his Hollywood star, Hemsworth confessed that he had believed he was receiving the honor back in 2019. This was when the cast of “Avengers: Endgame” was requested to leave their handprints in cement outside the iconic TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
“I was under the impression that it was the Walk of Fame! So when we did it, I was like, ‘Oh, cool, I’m getting a star,'” Hemsworth shared. “Then someone informed me, ‘No, that’s not what this is.’ I played along as if I fully understood what was going on. It wasn’t until later that I asked, ‘So, where’s the star?'”

Title: “Review: ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ Shines with Dazzling Sequences, but Falls Short of ‘Fury Road'”
The origin story of Furiosa in “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” delivers some truly mesmerizing sequences that captivate the audience. However, despite its visual brilliance, George Miller’s latest epic ultimately falls short of the legendary status achieved by its predecessor, “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
As the prequel to the highly acclaimed “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” explores the early life of Furiosa, the fierce and determined warrior portrayed by Charlize Theron in the previous film. The movie delves into her backstory and the events that shaped her into the powerful and formidable character we know.
One of the standout aspects of the film is its stunning visual presentation. George Miller’s unparalleled talent for crafting exhilarating action sequences is on full display, with breathtaking car chases and adrenaline-pumping battles. The movie’s cinematography and production design create a post-apocalyptic world that is both gritty and visually striking.
The performances in “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” are commendable, particularly from the talented ensemble cast. Anya Taylor-Joy impresses as a young Furiosa, embodying the character’s strength and resilience. Chris Hemsworth brings charisma and intensity to his role, adding depth to the narrative. Together, the cast delivers solid performances that keep the audience engaged throughout the film.
While “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” possesses many positive elements, it struggles to reach the groundbreaking heights set by “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The latter film captured the essence of the Mad Max universe, combining relentless action with thought-provoking themes. In comparison, “Furiosa” feels overstuffed at times, grappling with too many subplots and not fully exploring some of its intriguing storylines.
Despite its shortcomings, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is still a visually impressive and entertaining film that fans of the franchise will enjoy. It offers a deeper understanding of Furiosa’s character and provides an exciting glimpse into the dystopian world created by George Miller. However, it ultimately fails to replicate the sheer brilliance and impact of its predecessor, leaving audiences yearning for more.
