Fatal crash in Alpharetta leaves 2 dead and 3 injured, authorities report

According to police, two individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred in Alpharetta on Tuesday night. This information was shared with Channel 2 Action News.

Late Tuesday evening, police received reports of a crash in the vicinity of Westside Parkway, near Maxwell Road to Hembree Road. They promptly responded to the scene.

According to the police, the accident was limited to a single vehicle carrying five individuals.

Two individuals lost their lives in the incident, while the remaining occupants were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

All roadways near the area are expected to reopen no later than 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning, according to police.
