The ‘Full Sircle Salon 360 Program’ is empowering women, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Twenty participants have successfully completed the Full Sircle Salon 360 Program, as announced by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
The Atlanta City Detention Center hosted the ceremony.
A significant milestone has been reached in the Fulton County female inmate program as 20 inmates are now housed, providing them with the opportunity to gain skills in the beauty and cosmetology industry. This program aims to equip these women with the necessary skills to pursue new opportunities and rebuild their lives beyond incarceration.
The Full Sircle Salon 360 program, led by the visionary Ms. Lorene Shields-Robinson, aims to empower individuals to realize their maximum potential.
The program offered by FCSO provides extensive training in makeup corrective application, preparation for the state board of cosmetology/barbering, and creative hair styling techniques.
According to Ms. Shields-Robinson, our program has successfully reduced the rate of recidivism by 25% out of 50%. Participants have found our program to be a pathway back into society, providing them with an opportunity to pursue further education. Full Sircle 360 of America has played a vital role in initiating this process.
