Super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently revealed in an interview with People magazine that Bruce Willis displayed incredible generosity during the production of the 1998 blockbuster film “Armageddon”. Bruckheimer shared that Willis went above and beyond by distributing money to the crew, ensuring that everyone had some additional cash to enjoy at the end of each week. Directed by Michael Bay, “Armageddon” featured an ensemble cast including Billy Bob Thornton, Liv Tyler, and Ben Affleck.

Ricky Gervais’ latest Netflix special, titled ‘Armageddon’, attempts to push the boundaries with its edgy and offensive content. However, despite its efforts, the special falls flat and fails to captivate audiences.

According to Bruckheimer, Bruce is known for his generosity towards the crew. Bruckheimer mentioned that Bruce would often participate in cash giveaway drawings, contributing a substantial amount of money. As a result, crew members would always end up with extra cash at the end of the week. Bruckheimer praised Bruce for his kind-heartedness and described him as a genuinely good person.

‘Moonlighting’ creator discloses that he informed Bruce Willis about the show’s streaming debut, even before the actor faced challenges with his verbal communication. The creator acknowledged that this news holds significant meaning for Willis, demonstrating the impact and importance of the show’s availability on streaming platforms.

Willis announced his retirement from acting in 2022 after his family revealed his diagnosis of aphasia. In February 2023, it was confirmed by Willis’ family that his aphasia was caused by frontotemporal dementia. Since then, several of his past movie colleagues have expressed their admiration for Willis.

Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his admiration for Willis, stating, “I think that he’s fantastic. He has been a huge star for years and will always be remembered as a great star. He is also a kind man.” Schwarzenegger acknowledged Willis’ decision to retire due to health reasons but added, “In general, action heroes never really retire. They just reload.”

Both Schwarzenegger and Willis were featured in Sylvester Stallone’s action-packed films, “The Expendables” and its sequel, “The Expendables 2.”

Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, recently provided an update on the actor’s health condition. According to her, it is difficult to determine if he is fully aware of what is happening.
