Kim Kardashian is facing a decline in her social media presence following the release of Taylor Swift’s latest diss track targeting the reality TV star.
In case you missed it… Taylor Swift’s latest track, “thanK you aIMee,” serves as a not-so-subtle revenge anthem aimed at Kim. The title itself, with its capitalized letters, hints at the underlying theme. Within the song, Taylor confronts a former tormentor, referring to her as a “bronze spray-tanned statue,” effectively calling out her artificiality.
Just days after the release of the track, Kim has seen a significant drop in her social media following, losing over 100,000 fans. Swifties flooded her Instagram and X pages with hate-filled comments, expressing their dissatisfaction.
A delighted fan expressed their support, stating, “Finally, someone had the courage to stand up to Aimee.”
In 2016, Kim released a private conversation between Taylor and Kanye West, attempting to portray Taylor as a liar. One person believes that Kim should have apologized for her actions during that time.
Not everyone has seen this new diss track in a negative light. Some of Kim’s fans believe that the song has actually boosted her fame even more. There are even suggestions for Kim’s momager, Kris Jenner, to take advantage of the situation and address the diss track on the family’s Hulu show.
By the way, losing 100K on social media is just a minor setback for Kim. She still has a whopping 363 million followers on Instagram alone.
In her recent ‘TIME’ Person of the Year cover story, Taylor openly expressed her ongoing frustration with Kim, making it clear that she still harbors resentment towards her. Taylor specifically mentioned Kim by name, accusing her of attempting to end her career.
