In a passionate statement, First Lady Jill Biden expressed her strong opposition to former President Trump, labeling him as a “bully” and emphasizing the potential danger his reelection could pose to the progress made by the LGBTQ community.

The first lady addressed the “Equality in Action” event organized by the Human Rights Campaign in Virginia. In a passionate statement, Jill Biden expressed her concerns about Donald Trump, labeling him as a bully and emphasizing the potential dangers he poses to the LGBTQ community, families, and the entire country. Determined not to let him succeed, she urged everyone to rally together and fight relentlessly until President Biden and Vice President Harris secure another term.

President Biden has taken significant steps to support and protect the LGBTQ+ community. In particular, the first lady highlighted his signing of legislation that safeguards gay marriage. Additionally, he has overturned a rule implemented during the Trump administration that banned transgender individuals from serving in the military. Moreover, President Biden has eased restrictions on gay and bisexual men donating blood. These actions demonstrate his commitment to inclusivity and equality for all.

“There are external forces at play, attempting to undermine the hard-earned achievements and reverse the progress we have made,” expressed the first lady.

In her most recent comments, Jill Biden once again took aim at Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee who will be running against her husband in the November election. Back in March, during a campaign stop, she had already expressed her concerns about Trump, calling him “dangerous to women and to our families.” Her criticism stemmed from Trump’s stance on abortion and his past comments about women.

The first lady made her comments shortly after the launch of Out for Biden-Harris, a new nationwide initiative designed to engage LGBTQ voters. The campaign for re-election stated that the Biden-Harris administration is the most LGBTQ-friendly White House ever, and highlighted its endorsements from leading LGBTQ organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, the National Center for Transgender Equality, and Equality PAC.
