An overturned dump truck caused a chaotic situation for drivers on Interstate 295 in D.C. yesterday.

Photos of the incident near Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling were posted on X by the DC Department of Public Works at around 11:30 a.m. The images showed a mud-covered section of the roadway.

DPW, police, and fire crews promptly responded to the scene to carry out the necessary cleanup operations. It is a relief to note that no injuries were reported during the incident.
