MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Police in Montgomery County have begun an investigation after a man was discovered fatally shot in a residence late Wednesday evening.
A shooting was reported around 9:50 p.m. at an apartment in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive in the Silver Spring area, according to a report. Police say they found a man who had been shot inside the flat. At the scene, he was said to be dead.

The man’s name has not been released yet because his family needs to be told.
No one is in jail, and the inquiry is still going on.
