Prosecutors Arrest Heroin and Fentanyl Dealer in Wildwood

Christian Ramos, a 29-year-old resident of Wildwood, was apprehended on Friday, March 15th, as stated by Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland in a press release. With the assistance of agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations, law enforcement conducted searches on Ramos, his vehicle, and various premises in Wildwood and Middle Township.

The officers confiscated approximately 1,000 bags of heroin and $5,450 in cash. The heroin that had been seized earlier was analyzed in the laboratory, and it was found to contain fentanyl and xylazine.

Ramos faces several charges, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, money laundering, and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Ramos remained in custody at the Cape May County Correctional Facility, as prosecutors emphasized that he could be sentenced to five to 10 years in state prison if found guilty.
