Melania Trump made a rare public appearance this election cycle as she joined her husband at a polling place in Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday.
When questioned by a reporter about her participation in the campaign trail alongside the former president, the former first lady responded with a smile and teasingly said, “stay tuned.”
After casting their votes, the Trumps strolled away from the reporters, beaming and linked arm in arm.
Videos featuring the couple together at Mar-a-Lago during private events have been shared by campaign advisers. Most recently, a video was posted when they hosted Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
In December, Melania Trump gave a speech at the National Archives in Washington during a naturalization ceremony. However, her husband did not accompany her to the event.
During a September interview with NBC News, Trump was questioned about his wife’s involvement in his campaign. He mentioned that she would be joining him “soon” and at the “appropriate time”, but also expressed his preference to “keep her away” from the campaign trail.
According to Trump, at the moment, Melania is at school with Barron. He expressed that Melania has a strong affection for their son and is highly fond of him. Furthermore, Trump mentioned that Melania is quite well-liked and enjoys a significant level of popularity. He emphasized that Melania is a great source of support for him and his endeavors.
He mentioned that she will make an appearance when the timing is right. She is a private individual, but also a remarkable and self-assured person. Her love for our country is immense. We can expect to see her at the appropriate moment.
According to Trump, he prefers to keep her away from the nastiness and meanness that exists in the outside world.
