Brother reveals that mother’s death on flight was due to natural causes

According to her brother Chris Volz, an Indiana mother of two, who tragically passed away after becoming unexpectedly sick on a plane returning from the Dominican Republic last month, died of natural causes.

For the past two weeks, there has been a shroud of mystery surrounding the tragic death of Stefanie Smith, a 41-year-old woman. Her family has been desperate for answers, urging authorities to shed light on the circumstances surrounding her untimely passing.

Volz expressed his deep sadness over the unfortunate medical incident that occurred.

On February 28th, Smith became ill during an American Airlines flight from the Dominican Republic. She had just spent five days at a resort with her boyfriend and another couple. As a result of her condition, the flight was diverted to Turks and Caicos. Smith was then taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
