8 Employees Sentenced For Animal Abuse At Several Turkey Farms In Pennsylvania

Mocobizscene  – Eight workers across Pennsylvania were given jail time for abusing animals on different farms.

Eleven people have been charged with animal abuse by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for allegedly mistreating turkeys on seven farms in central and southeastern Pennsylvania in 2022. With a location in Union County among them.

Per PETA, a Union County court said that “Plainville Brands cannot be held liable for the actions of their employees” because, among other things, the abuse wasn’t reported to any supervisors.

Eight workers admitted they were guilty and were given probation. During their time on probation, they were not allowed to work with animals. Nineteen pleaded not guilty.
