Mocobizscene- New Orleans police are currently investigating two separate shootings that occurred on Saturday. One took place in the French Quarter, while the other occurred in Algiers.
A shooting incident took place on Saturday at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Mardi Gras Boulevard in Westbank. The authorities were informed about the incident when a man arrived at a hospital seeking medical attention for a thigh wound.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, the French Quarter was the site of the second shooting. According to police, they were alerted by hospital staff after a man arrived seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. The exact location of the shooting is still being determined by law enforcement.
