Manhattan hospital patient escapes custody, prompting police search

Mocobizscene-The NYPD is currently on the lookout for an individual who managed to escape from a Manhattan hospital on Saturday morning. This individual was under police custody at the time of the incident.

According to the police, a 23-year-old man was receiving medical treatment at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue when the officers discovered that he had an outstanding summons warrant for a traffic violation. As a result, he was taken into custody by the police.

The man managed to sneak out of the hospital door at approximately 4 a.m., according to officials.

According to the police, the man they were searching for exited the hospital in a gray hoodie with red lettering, gray sweatpants, and barefoot.
