A customer caught a shoplifter in the act, and the DPD arrested him

DOTHAN, Ala – Over the weekend, an individual from Ozark was taken into custody by the police after attempting to rob a store. However, his plan was foiled by a good-hearted person who intervened.

The incident took place at a business located in the 2200 Block of Ross Clark Circle, where the suspect, Andrew White, started taking and concealing items in his clothes.

Upon noticing his actions, the employees approached him, but instead of complying, White tried to flee and ended up shoving the employees.

Fortunately, a customer at the store acted as a good samaritan and managed to capture White in the parking lot until the police arrived. As a result, White, who is 55 years old, was charged with one count of Robbery in the third degree and booked on a $15,000 bond.
