Mocobizscene- A devastating incident has left an East Los Angeles family grieving the loss of their 22-year-old loved one, who tragically lost their life in a drive-by shooting over the weekend.
According to witnesses, she made an attempt to run back into the house but unfortunately collapsed just before reaching the entrance. The family has had a week filled with sorrow as they persistently search for answers, including the identity of the person responsible for taking their beloved family member away from them on that fateful day.
“Please, if you have any compassion, I implore you to surrender yourself,” pleaded Patricia Ramirez, Gutierrez’s aunt. “Perhaps you were not in the right state of mind when it transpired, but I urge you to turn yourself in. While it won’t bring Lexus back, it will provide some semblance of closure for her grieving mother.”
Gutierrez, the eldest of three children, had a passion for softball and was pursuing a career in nursing.
According to Ramirez, Truly was an extraordinary individual who exuded kindness. She never wore a frown and never uttered a negative word about anyone. Everywhere she went, she effortlessly made friends.
Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are optimistic that the surveillance footage obtained from the area will yield valuable leads in their investigation into the incident. Outside of the home where the shooting occurred, there was a growing memorial of candles, balloons, and flowers for Gutierrez.
Ramirez expressed the painful reality by stating, “Nothing will be able to bring her back.” He emphasized the importance of preventing another family from experiencing the same tragedy, acknowledging that the devastating loss they have endured should not be endured by anyone else.
