New York State Police Officer From Shirley Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident On Southern State Parkway

Mocobizscene-  An NYPD officer from Shirley tragically lost his life in a fatal single-car crash on Sunday morning. State police have reported the incident occurred on the Southern State Parkway.

The incident occurred near Exit 13 in the Town of Hempstead at approximately 7:15 a.m.

According to reports, Clifford Saintvil, a 32-year-old individual, veered off the road and collided with a tree located on the right shoulder.  The New York City Police Benevolent Association took to social media on Sunday night to share photos of a heartfelt final salute to Saintvil.

Saintvil was involved in a crash while he was on his way to work, as mentioned in the social media post. He served as an officer at the 113th Precinct in Queens. Saintvil was declared dead at the hospital.
