House of Ruth has closed on its future home

The House of Ruth has purchased a new administrative building in Dothan, Alabama.

They formally moved into their new house on Thursday after closing on it.

House of Ruth is a rape crisis center and safe house that serves victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault in nine counties.

The new administrative building is located on West Troy Street near the First Baptist Church of Dothan and will provide authorities with greater space to serve the Wiregrass.

Furthermore, the House of Ruth will retain and use the former administrative building on North Herring Street for transitional services.
