Mocobizscene- A 77-year-old pedestrian was involved in a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Virginia Beach Boulevard and Independence Boulevard. The Virginia Beach police are currently investigating the incident.
At 6:01 p.m., a distress call was received by the police, reporting that a woman is currently in critical condition.
Thru traffic is currently not allowed on Southbound Independence Boulevard at Virginia Beach Boulevard and westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard at Independence Boulevard. These road closures will remain in effect until further notice.
There is a significant police presence outside of the VB Town Center. Authorities are urging individuals to steer clear of the vicinity and seek an alternative route.
