On December 1, when Brittney Heinzman returned home from California, she discovered Wendy Wilkinson, an alleged serial burglar, concealed in her wardrobe. After obtaining a search warrant, Irvine Police Department detectives arrested Wilkinson, Heinzman’s neighbour, at her apartment. The theft was reportedly discovered in her vehicle, storage area, and apartment.
Precise in her ability to steal property, the police suspect that Wilkinson entered Heinzman’s residence on multiple occasions, intending to steal items. Heinzman disclosed that several items were misplaced, including eyeglasses, several handbags by Dior and Chanel, her work ID, passport, and credit card.
Currently being detained on $150,000 bail, Wilkinson has pleaded not guilty to first-degree residential burglary and identity theft.
