Teens on motorcycle crash with parked SUV as NYPD pursues: video

According to the NYPD, two teenagers collided their motorbike into a parked car after a thrilling chase in Queens.

Authorities said that the incident started with police responding to reports of shots fired at a school. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when the motorbike operator decided to flee as the police tried to stop them.

Gunshots were heard at PS 22 on Sanford Avenue, causing a dramatic scene that unfolded shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday, according to the police.

According to authorities, a witness described a male suspect who made his escape on a dark-colored, two-wheel vehicle.

The NYPD stated that the driver failed to stop when the police tried to pull over the vehicle near Franklin Avenue and Bowne Street.

The driver of the vehicle, according to an NYPD spokesman, did not navigate the roadways properly and ended up colliding with a parked unoccupied gray SUV while traveling east on Franklin Avenue towards Bowne Street.
