Gautier Holds Candlelight Vigil for Cheerleaders Killed in Car Accident

In Gautier, Mississippi, a candlelight vigil was observed in remembrance of Sedhari Watson-Person and Kyla Watkins, two young women who perished as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

Tatyanna Richmond, the third passenger, remains hospitalized and undergoing treatment. All three graduated from Gautier High School as cheerleaders and attended MGCCC Perkinson Campus.

Gautier community gathers for candlelight vigil

Local school districts and MGCCC, among others, have demonstrated tremendous support for the families of the victims. The ladies were remembered at Gautier High School for their positive influence on their classmates, especially in their capacities as cheerleaders.

The finalization of funeral arrangements is ongoing for Sedhari Watson-Person and Kyla Watkins.
